On due dates that our office is closed, we accept payments as on time until 5:30 p.m. the next working day including the drop box.

On due dates that our office is open we accept payments in our office until 5:30 p.m. and in the drop box by 8:00 a.m the following morning.

Payments received in our office that are postmarked by the 15th of the month due are honored as on-time payments.

For your convenience a drop box is located outside the northeast entrance to the Township building.

Pursuant to Water Ordinance No. 1222, Section 10.02.

Sprinkler systems shall be activated on May 1 of each year, unless written request is delivered to the Township Water and Waste Department for a different period of time, or unless the sprinkler system meter is activated by consumption.

Notification must take place by April 10 each year to provide notice to Genesee County WWS of your request. Should consumption occur after your request, the meter will be turned on, initiating a turn on fee and the meter will remain activated for the balance of the season which ends October 31.

Each year the same procedure must be followed. Your letter of request from the previous year is no longer in effect at the end of that season.
